Carolyn May has been a pastor’s wife for over 25 years. Six months out of high school, she fell head over heels in love and married an oilfield roustabout, several years later a farmer, then a business owner, a preacher, and is currently married to a college professor — but don’t draw any hasty conclusions because she’s only been married once. She’s mom to two married sons, mother-in-law to two beautiful daughter-in-loves, and Granna to four grandprizes — Magnolia Riley and Miles Solomon, Jubilee Quinn and Winnie Fields — all bearing the last name of May.
She holds a Master’s degree in English/TESOL from Texas A&M Commerce, a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from LeTourneau University, with a Certificate of Christian Ministry/Education from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
She currently teaches online English courses through various colleges and women’s Bible studies. She and her husband of 43 years (yes, one and only) are currently living a full-time RV life while serving in interim pastorship positions and preaching in various churches across the states. They consider this season of life a gift the Lord has allowed and is nothing short of amazing grace.
In work, play, and everyday life, it is Carolyn’s desire to glorify the heavenly Father who continues to prove Himself Faithful and True. “All I have needed, Thy hand hath provided… Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me.”
